PRDUCTS

We are manufacturing and assembling rigid boxes and covers using knowledge and techniques developed over many years.

RIGID BOX

Rigid box is a beautifully finished decorative box made by glueing and wrapping designed printed paper or cloth around a relatively strong cardboard core.
Among the various types of paper containers, these boxes are particularly luxurious and highly durable.

Body and Lid box (Kabuse-bako or Bento-bako style)

Type of rigid box which is divided into two parts, the body box and the lid box.

One-piece box

Rigid box which body box and the lid box are connected.

Book shaped (3-sided back)

Originally a form of rigid box used as a case for books and documents, in recent years it has been used as a case for storing digital media such as DVDs and BDs.
They are not called "boxes" but "cases" because they do not have lids.

  • Box with inner lip

In the body and lid box format, an inner box and sleeve of higher dimensions than the body are attached to the inside of the "body," and then connected to the inner box by a lid of the same dimensions.

  • Hybrid (V-cut) box

The cardboard is shaved by a "V-cut blade" instead of stamping out with a dieboard.
By aligning the 8 edges cut in a V-shape, all edges become a perfect square, forming an affixed box that gives a sharper impression.

  • Tough-easy box

Originally, the advantage of rigid boxes is to gain strength by attaching and wrapping a core material.
However, this strength was a disadvantage when the box is to be destroyed for disposal after use.
"Tough-easy box" was designed based on the concept of "a box that can be easily destroyed while maintaining its strength" using a special manufacturing method.

Cover

A cover made of paperboard (cardboard, etc.) as the core, and then pasted and wrapped with designed printed paper, vinyl paper, paper cloth, etc.

Types of Cover

①Wrap up cover

Chipboard, which is mainly made from used paper such as magazines and newspapers, is called "Wrap up cover," and is pasted and wrapped with decorative paper or other materials. It is used for albums and book hard covers.

Triple core

A cover made by dividing the cardboard into three parts: the cover part (2 sheets) and the back part (1 sheet), and then pasting and wrapping the entire cover with decorative paper or other materials.

V-cut

Unlike the Triple core, a single piece of cardboard is finished with a V-shaped slit to create an even sharper angle at the spine.

②Paper jacket

A-type

A-type (American method) is a paper jacket produced by assembling the jacket body with cardboard and then pasting a thin sheet of paper with a printed design on the surface.

  • Single
    (1 piece storage)
  • Semi-double
    Double-folded (1 piece storage)
  • Double
    Double-folded (1 piece storage)
  • Triple
Triple-folded with double doors that open from the centre (2 pieces storage)

E-type

E style (European style) is a paper jacket that is printed on thick paper itself and assembled.

*We also offer custom-made rigid boxes that meet various needs, such as a combination of a cover and a box.
